Due to the increase number of dental insurance plans, it is difficult to have full knowledge of each program. Some plans may have deductibles, yearly maximums, orthodontics or crown coverage. But they also may work on a calendar year or a “rolling” year. There can be plans that cover 100%, but may not cover the current year, while some may cover only 70 to 80%. Yearly maximum coverages also vary.Due to strict privacy laws, it is getting more and more difficult for us to collect this information. We strongly suggest that you check your coverage before your appointment. But, please still bring your insurance information so that we may verify your coverage. Since service is an important part of our office philosophy, we will assist you in gaining your benefits by submitting claim forms to your insurance company. Sometimes companies require additional information, such as x-rays, or special reports, which we will submit on your behalf.
